That's because the Nature Unite bottle engages and inspires people to consider their purchasing and waste behaviour resulting in reduced purchasing and waste creation. It also contributes to drive demand for increased recycling capabilities in particularly exposed countries. Finally it helps clean up plastic at the last stage before entering our oceans.
The more we can do to improve the process from source to sea, the closer we are to reducing plastic pollution in our oceans!
The Nature Unite bottle is CO2 Neutral
We have conducted a comprehensive cradle-to-grave CO2e analysis of the Nature Unite bottle through recognised consultancy and standard setting agency, Carbon Footprint.
We offset 100% of bottle and business related CO2e through their certified Kenyan reforestation and Amazonian prevention of deforestation projects, making us CO2 Neutral.
It's more than just a bottle
The Nature Unite bottle is made with Oceanbound recycled plastic and represents a real solution to plastic pollution whereby it ensures that we consume less single-use plastic which in turn reduces plastic waste, whilst also driving demand for increased infrastructure and support the livelihood of the most vulnerable people in the world. Now that is a SOLUTION!
It removes the need to buy single-use plastic water bottles. This has never been more important considering that 1 million single-use plastic bottles are bought around the world every minute, most becoming waste after just 1 use.
It uses Oceanbound recycled plastic from particularly exposed countries that contributes to clean-up efforts of plastic waste that is at the verge of ending up in our oceans.
It reduces the amount of plastic waste that enters our oceans. This is particularly important considering that 1 garbage truck of plastic waste enters our oceans every minute.
Less plastic in our oceans means less entanglements, less indigestion and less pollution, leading to a healthier life for all ocean living and dependant animals and wildlife.
It drives demand and economic feasibility for recycled plastic which will drive improved and increased infrastructure worldwide, leading to economic growth and prosperity in countries that need it the most.
It supports the most vulnerable people in the world with jobs and security through increased waste management work so that they can stay healthy, support their families, and improve their overall quality of life.
