There are so many small changes where we can reduce our carbon emissions and therefore our impact in the world, and these are brilliant in so many ways! We did however want to bring you some of our top small changes that we can all people take part in and relate to, resulting in zero carbon emissions!
We know that walking and cycling are two of the most sustainable ways of transport, but if you consider the manufacturing of the bike, we are left with walking as the best zero-emissions way of transport 🚶♀
GROW YOUR OWN FOOD
No matter how small or big your living space is, there is always room for some type of food growing, being it a lettuce stem that grows into more lettuce or taking the avocado stone and growing your own organic avocados. Zero-emission food is awesome! 🥑
LET YOUR HANDS AIR-DRY
This is one that you might not have thought of much, but it has become more important over the last few months with us washing hands more often. When you have washed your hands, let them air-dry instead of using paper towels or the dryer, saving trees, using less electricity at taking part in a zero-emission activity ✋
As we get back into training at gyms, lets mix it up with some good zero-emission exercise outside. It requires no electricity for lights or heating and using your own body or items in the wild as weights will allow you a non-equipment exercise too 🤸♀
Instead of tapping water to give to your flowers and plants, use a container to capture rainwater outside and give your plants a good zero-emission watering 💧
We LOVE SHARING these small changes with our community and HERE are other fantastic #smallchanges tips in our series for you to check out.
