We all create waste in many different ways, and we find that there are some small changes that are easier than others to reduce the amount of waste we create. The main learning is that we should try to consider each item that is about to become waste and using your imagination for how you can lengthen or give it a second life.
Here are a few small changes to give waste a second life.
USE COFFEE GROUNDS FOR BODY SCRUB
Coffee is a necessity to many of us, but what about all that coffee ground that is going to waste? We recommend keeping it and make a fantastic body scrub.

MAKE MORE FOOD FROM FOOD WASTE
Despite composting being the best option for any unwanted food waste, you can still use those unwanted left-overs by picking the seeds and using the stones and stems to grow more food.
KEEP CARDBOARD BOXES
Most of us will receive carboard boxes when we get things delivered, and instead of folding and putting them to the recycling bin, keep them and use them when you need to send something yourself.
If you have pieces of clothing that you just can’t mend to use again, cut them up into smaller pieces and use them for cleaning around the house, or make for example small make-up remover towels.
RJUST DON’T WASTE!
If you can get into the mindset of always looking at anything that is about to become waste, and ask yourself if 1) it really cannot be reused again and 2) how can I redesign it to give it a second life. Waste really it what it says on the tin, wasted resources that we can all reduce by just being a bit imaginative.
We LOVE SHARING these small changes with our community and HERE are other fantastic #smallchanges tips in our series for you to check out.
